Some musicians will sweat a little more than others and this can potentially cause shorts in the cables. Here is a quick tip on how to help prevent that from happening. What you will need: - Hard as Nails Clear nail polish The Cable Bifurcation Take the clear nail polish and apply a small amount to the area around the cable bifurcation. Use just enough to create a seal. You may need to do this more than once throughout the life of the cable. |

My name is Joy Bastow, owner and ear mold specialist of Let’s Talk Earz. Through my years of fitting and selling custom in-ear monitors I have learned several key facts that seem to happen to most musicians going in-ears. 1. Poor ear impressions- ear impressions done incorrectly will lead to two big issues such as; fit issues causing pain or discomfort to your ears & fit issues causing seal breakage which leads to bad sound quality. Many audiology clinics do not agree with the fitting process the manufacturers ask for. |
